About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer – Advanced Digital Solutions to play a key role in shaping, implementing, and commercializing our growing digital solutions portfolio.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of process engineering, digital product development, project execution, and sales support. You will translate real-world water and biogas process challenges into scalable, high-impact digital solutions that deliver measurable value to our clients.

This position is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys combining deep technical expertise with innovation, customer interaction, and strategic influence.
 

Key Responsibilities

Digital Solution & Product Development

  • Contribute to the development and evolution of inCTRL’s Advanced Digital Solutions portfolio, applying strong process engineering insight to digital product design
  • Translate water and biogas process challenges into clear functional requirements for digital solutions
  • Collaborate closely with software, data, and automation engineers to ensure solutions are practical, technically robust, and industrially relevant
 

Client Projects & Solution Configuration

  • Lead or support client projects focused on configuring and applying inCTRL’s digital solutions to specific customer challenges
  • Analyze client processes, operational data, and constraints to tailor solutions for maximum impact
  • Ensure solutions are implemented in a scalable, value-driven, and operationally practical manner
 

Sales & Pre-Sales Support

  • Support the sales team in positioning and tailoring digital solutions for technical, operational, and management audiences
  • Participate in customer workshops, technical discussions, and proposal development
  • Help quantify value propositions and translate technical capabilities into clear business benefits
  • Represent inCTRL Solutions at conferences, customer meetings, and speaking engagements
 

Knowledge Sharing & Best Practices

  • Capture project learnings and feed insights back into product development and internal best practices
  • Act as a technical mentor to junior engineers and support staff within the process and digital domain
  • Stay current on industry trends in process engineering, digitalization, and advanced analytics
 

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a senior-level process engineer with strong domain expertise in water and biogas systems, combined with a passion for digital innovation. You enjoy working across disciplines, engaging with customers, and shaping solutions that bridge engineering and software.
 

Qualifications

Required Experience & Education

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in process engineering within the water and biogas industry
  • Strong understanding of process modeling, optimization, and operational performance
  • Experience working with digital tools, advanced analytics, or industrial software solutions
  • Proven ability to work directly with clients and translate complex challenges into actionable solutions
 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital twins, advanced process control, or data-driven optimization
  • Exposure to commercial or pre-sales activities in a technical environment
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms, cloud-based solutions, or industrial IT/OT environments
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary and international teams
